Checking the box on the top right hand corner under your login details will automatically sign you in on from your computer.
There are lots of things you can do here but this will help get you going.
There are a few ways to make a post here. Click on the Home Page (the first tab in the bar running across every screen, below the Guild logo). On the Home page you will see all the forum topics listed down the left of the screen. To view what is contained in the topic just click on it. e.g. in General chat there is the Chimney Horrors topic. Click on this and you will see all the different posts on the subject. Click on an individual thread e.g. "Wooden register plate" to see what is there You can add / reply to any thread by clicking on the "Reply" tab which is in the top right hand corner of every post. A box will open up where you can type your reply or comment, upload pictures, video, documents etc. If you want to start a new topic, go to e.g. "Rods and Brushes" and either add to an existing conversation or click on the "Start a new Topic" box on the right hand side near the chatbox.
Next to the reply box there is a "quote" box. Use this if you want to answer or refer to any post from further back in the thread. Click "Quote" and the typing box will appear again but now it will also contain the quote from the post you wish to reply to. Type what you want below the quote.
When you have finished your reply or post you need to click on the "Submit Post" box in the bottom right hand corner of the screen where you are typing the post.
If you click on "Recent Posts" tab (along the top of each screen, below the Guild logo), you will see a list of all recent activity. Click on any tread topic and follow above instructions to post what you want.
You can use the chat box on the right hand side of each screen to have live chat with any other users or simply to add short comments. If you want to know who is using the forum at any time go to the Home Page and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. In the bottom left hand corner there are details of member numbers and a list of everyone who is on the forum at that moment.
If you want to see details of any member just click on their user name wherever you see it. You can send them a "Private Message" by clicking "send message" at the bottom of the user details list.Or use the tab at the top of the screen and click "List All Users" and you can click on whoever you want to contact. Or go to your personal profile by clicking on your name in "list All Users" and send a private message from your personal profile page.
If you want to change / add any personal details just go to your personal profile via the "List All Users" and look at the list on the right hand side of the screen. You can change whatever you like, name, upload new avatar, all your details etc. You can view all the posts you've made and any topics started.
If you want to add pictures or files to a post use the "Attach Image(s)" box which appears beneath the typing box you use when making any post / reply. You can then select files from your computer / device to upload.
