I,m Colin Davison trading as The Northumberland Sweep Chimney Services based in Rothbury in the county of, yes you've guessed it, Northumberland.

I trained with the Guild last June after 30 odd years in Engineering where I ended up as a Sales Manager (hated it).

I have had my business up and running since last August and its going very well. Its just good to be back on the tools.

Nothing beats being your own boss and I get a real sense of satisfaction doing this job.

I am pleased we now have a Guild forum, somewhere to moan and groan and also get some good tips and advise .
