Hi guys and gals, i've just joined the guild after being with the ICS for nearly 6 years
I will probably recognise a few names from the UCS or facebook forums.
I'm based in a small Market Town in East Yorkshire called Market Weighton which is sited slap bang in the middle between Hull and York so i cover up to both of the cities, and laterally from Selby up to Driffield.
I'm now a Hetas registered sweep as well as installer which ive been for the past 3 years.
Ive been wanting to be a member and a Hetas sweep for a long time but never really got round to it so i'm glad i've finally done it, the Guild to me came across very professional and ive heard great things about the training so I'm looking forward to gradually getting through the Guild's courses to add more qualifications / services to my sweep portfolio.
Any advice on useful courses would be appreciated and i hope i can contribute to my fellow guild members with experience i have gained.
Thanks for having me! 😄
Jamie

Hello Jamie and welcome, I hope being a Guild member will exceed your expectations, the next year or so will bring some positive developments and some real challenges I think.
Like UCS, the searchbox can be very useful. If you get yourself registered for the members section on the Guild site - www.guildofmasterchimneysweeps.co.uk you'll find some info and downloads there.Â
It's a bit more gentle on here than most other forums, I don't think we've ever had a termination, a purge or a booting off. I don't think we've even had a post deleted?
